Controller exchange

In this guide you will learn how to exchange a controller in Leanheat Monitor.

When a controller is exchanged on the field it also necessary to exchange it in Leanheat Monitor. When a controller is exchanged it will take the previous controllers details (description, tags, location, owner information, etc.). The old controller will be shown as "Disconnected" in the system.

To exchange a controller navigate to the "Admin" tab, select "Device administration" in the second row and find the controller which you would like to exchange in the list below. In the same row where the controller is located on the right hand side click the three dots and select "Exchange device".

On the right hand side of the screen select the new controllers connection type, click "Configure" and proceed with connecting the new controller.
