In this guide you will learn how to use the Multiple periods consumption analysis in the Leanheat® Monitor analytics tab.
Multiple periods consumption lets you examine the historical consumption of a single device across several periods, for example this month compared to the previous months, to track usage trends over time. The analysis is available for devices with cumulative energy or volume meters.
Setting up the comparison
- Open the Analytics tab and select Multiple periods consumption.
- Select one device from the menu on the left hand side. Only devices with consumption meters are available for selection.
- Select the meter value to analyze (one energy or volume meter).
- Choose the resolution (Day, Week, Month or Year) and select 2 to 4 periods to compare.
Reading the graph
The consumption is shown as a column graph with one color per period, so you can see directly how the device's consumption developed between the periods. You can also switch to a box plot view to see the statistical distribution of the readings.
Summary statistics
Below the graph, the summary statistics table lists the Min, Max, Median and Total consumption for each period.
The graph, including the statistics, can be exported as a PDF via the export button on the right side of the graph.
