In this guide you will learn how to create daily and holiday schedules for areas.
To create an area schedule firstly navigate to the "Areas" tab in the top menu. Select the area from the list on the left hand side that you wish to create a schedule for. Click "Schedules" in the menu inside the "Areas" tab. To add a schedule click "Add schedule".
There are 2 different types of schedules you can create:
- Daily schedule (sets comfort mode for the set period)
- Holiday schedule (sets holiday comfort, constant setback temperature or frost protection for the set period)
In the first step of creating a shared time schedule input the name of the schedule and select the type of schedule. Optionally you can also assign tags and give the schedule a description.
In the second step set the active period of the schedule. The schedule can be endless. In this case only select when the schedule starts being active. If you want the schedule only to be active during a certain time period, then click "Range" and select the beginning and ending date.
When creating a holiday schedule it is also necessary to select the mode that the devices will switch to (holiday comfort, constant setback temperature or frost protection). Below the date selection you can mark the weekdays when the schedule is active. On the right side you can also set daily periods for the schedule.
Now select the devices from the current area where the schedule is applicable...
...and the device circuits where the schedule is applicable.
In the last step there is an overview of the schedule you just configured. To finish setting up the shared time schedule for the area click "Save" in the bottom right corner.
Once you have saved the schedule you will see it under the "Schedules" tab alongside any other shared time schedules created for the currently selected area. You can enable or disable the schedule by selecting the schedule and clicking the toggle next to "Status" on the right side of the screen. To edit a schedule select the schedule and click the "Edit" button on the right side. To delete the schedule click the three dots right from the "Edit" button and click "Delete".
You can switch from schedule view to devices view by clicking "Devices" above the list of shared time schedules. This will open up a table view of all devices for this area that are part of a shared schedule. Here you can see which devices and which circuits are currently under influence of shared time schedule. You can also search for a specific device by clicking "Search devices" under the Schedules/Devices view selector.
