Feature Availability Reference

This reference guide shows which Ally features are available in Leanheat Monitor, what limitations exist, and how functionality differs between the Ally App and Leanheat Monitor.

Important: Once integration is enabled, Leanheat Monitor takes control of device settings. Most configuration must be done in Leanheat Monitor, not the Ally App.

Temperature Control Features

Manual Mode

Available in Leanheat Monitor:

Vacation Mode Limitations

⚠️ Critical Limitation:

Vacation mode is NOT supported with Leanheat Monitor integration. Before enabling integration:

• Vacation mode MUST be turned OFF in Ally App
• Cannot enable vacation mode while integration is active
• If you need vacation-like functionality, use Schedule mode with Pause setpoints

Mode Switching Limitations

⚠️ Critical Limitation:

The mode (Manual or Schedule) is set during integration setup and CANNOT be changed:

• Mode is locked when integration is enabled
• Cannot switch individual devices between modes
• To change mode: disable integration, change mode in Ally App, re-enable integration
• Changing mode requires reconfiguring setpoints/schedules

Permission Requirements

In Ally App

To enable integration, you need:

In Leanheat Monitor

Different roles have different access:

• Admin: Create integrations, import devices, full control
• Manager: Control assigned devices, create alarms, limited bulk operations
• Operator: View and control assigned devices, no device management
• Viewer: Read-only access to assigned devices
